2018 marks the 30th anniversary season of the Vail Dance Festival. From July 28 through August 11, 2018, enjoy a two-week celebration featuring both dance performance and educational elements. All performances will be in the art of ballet but will vary differently from Hispanic, International, and American influences.
The performances will take place at the Gerald R Ford Amphitheater in Vail (walking distance to Solaris), the Performance Pavilion in Avon (15 minutes west of Vail), and the Vilar Performing Arts Center in Beaver Creek (25 minutes west of Vail). Both Ford Amphitheater and the Avon Performance Pavilion are open air and we advise planning for variable weather conditions and temperatures.
Ticket pricing will depend on the performances and venues. Typically, reserved seating is available for $50-$125; however, the lawn tickets are family friends for children of all ages. Children 12 and under are free. Ages 13-17 are $10 and 18 and up is priced at $23.
The Vail Dance Festival and Vail Valley Foundation have multiple box office locations. The main box office is located at the Ford Amphitheater, located a short walk from Solaris Residences. Additionally, tickets can be purchased at the Vilar Performing Arts Center in Beaver Creek year-round.
